Appalachian State University continues to monitor the situation with COVID-19 closely. University Administration has made the decision to cancel the on-campus camps, programs, and conferences after July 1 through the first day of the fall semester 2020.

2016 Wrestling Camp

The South's oldest and world's largest wrestling camp will sponsor four sessions of wrestling instruction at Appalachian State University this summer. The wrestling camp strives to improve the wrestling techniques of all, beginner or experienced wrestlers. With facilities including 12 separate mat areas on 35 mats, we are able to offer individual instruction in all phases of interscholastic wrestling.

Sessions are open to teams and individual campers. Individual campers will be combined to form a competitive team.

ELIGIBILITY 

  • Open to middle school, junior high, and high school wrestlers only.
  • 2020 graduates may attend for instruction or to help coach, but cannot wrestle in matches.

Individual Campers

  • Session 1: June 24-27, 2020 - or - Session 3: July 15-18, 2020

    • Resident Camper - $375
    • Day Camper - $295
  • Session 2: July 10-14, 2020

    • Resident Camper- $430 
    • Day Camper- $325

Team Campers

  • Session 1: June 24-27, 2020 - or - Session 3: July 15-18, 2020

    • Resident Camper - $375 
    • Day Camper - $295
      • *Teams of 10 or more receive $25 off each wrestler if received by May 29, 2020. A $100 deposit per wrestler is due at the time of registration.  
  • Session 2: July 10-14, 2020

    • Resident Camper- $430 
    • Day Camper- $325
      • *Teams of 10 or more receive $35 off each wrestler if received by May 29, 2020.  A $100 deposit per wrestler is due at the time of registration.

REGISTRATION

  • Please complete the online registration form whether paying by credit card or check.
  • To pay by check, complete the online registration form and mail in your payment. Please note spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The program may fill before we receive your payment. We suggest registering now with a credit card using our secure server.
  • A $100 non-refundable deposit PER WRESTLER is required at the time of registration. If you decide to cancel your registration, the non-refundable deposit will be withheld from the refund. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
