Aspire IT Camp (part of The ASU Innovate for Good Initiative)

A STEM Outreach Program

The ASU Innovate for Good initiative aims to increase diverse students’ awareness about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education and career paths through series of hands-on programs. Specifically, the 2019 Aspire IT program aims to engage your girls in rising grades 4th to 10th in fun projects that utilize emerging technologies to address social problems. Some of the technologies that students will engage in are: MIT’s App Inventor, MIT’s Scratch, Internet of Things (IoT), Lego Robotics/Sphero, and 3-D Design/printing. The Aspire IT program is partly funded by the National Center for Women in IT (NCWIT) and also supported by the Association of University Women (AAUW) Greensboro Branch.
