Covid-19 Guidelines

Appalachian State University has been monitoring the situation with COVID-19 closely.  Day camps and programs serving children and teens this summer must adhere to the current guidance and University guidelines.  We encourage parents and campers to read the full list of camper requirements.

Winter Clinics

AppState Baseball is offering 3 different winter clinics. Please review the details below for each clinic

All sessions are open to the first 20 individuals who complete and pay their registration. 

Youth Hitting Camp

Hitting Clinics offer youth players an opportunity to learn directly from the App State staff and participate in practice and game scenarios similar to that of the Mountaineer Offense. Players will receive an advanced hitting warm-up, individual drill prescription, and machine reps catered to each individual skill set. We encourage players to step outside of their comfort zone to improve while maintaining a safe and fun atmosphere. Our Clinics provide foundational training techniques and information that will take your game to the next level!

Camp Dates:
Clinic #1 November 8, November 15, November 22
Clinic #2 November 29, December 6, December 13
Clinic #3 January 10, January 17, January 24

Each session will be held from 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Ages: 7 - 14 years of age

Fees:
Each sessions is $20 or $50 for all 3 sessions in a clinic
*$125 for all sessions in all clinics

Equipment: Please bring a bat, a helmet, and plenty of water for the hour. Cleats are not required. Water will not be provided.

Drop Off/Pick Up: Drop off will begin 10 minutes prior to start time; Pick up will begin promptly at 7:30pm. Drop off is located at the front entrance to the stadium. No parents will be allowed in the baseball stadium.

Youth Pitching and Catching Camp

Pitching and Catching Clinics provide young players with Collegiate level coaching from the App State staff. Pitchers and catchers will go through individualized warm-up progressions, arm care programs, and drill progressions prior to throwing competitive bullpens

Ages: 7 - 14 years of age

Grades: 9th - 12th grade

Each sessions is $20 or $50 for all 3 sessions in a clinic
*$90 for all sessions both clinics

Equipment: Please bring a bat, a helmet, and plenty of water for the hour. Cleats are not required. Water will not be provided.

No refunds will be issued for no-shows. 

The University reserves the right to cancel or amend this event if federal, state, local, or university guidelines change to address developing conditions related to COVID-19

According to NCAA rules and regulations, all camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants regardless of skill level (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
